Shipping & Returns


Delivery is normally 2-5 working days for Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class from the time the order is placed. This is Royal Mail advice. If your new thermometer requires calibration then please allow up to 10 working days for delivery from the time the order is placed.

Please be aware that any instruments requiring Calibration will take up to ten working days to be processed.

If we have a delay on a certain product any longer than this period we will contact you to let you know immediately.


We charge a standard £4.50 ex VAT on all sales under £50,00 otherwise free shipping within the UK.

For delivery to all EU counties including Southern Ireland, please email us and we will be able to give you a comprehensive quote on carriage costs.


Should you require NEXT DAY DELIVERY (Available for orders placed  Monday to Thursday prior to 11am within the UK) then this is available as an option at a cost of £6.96. Again please email or telephone us and we can advise you immediately. If you require a delivery upon a Saturday, we are afraid the cost increases due to advice from ALL carriers that we use. UPS will not guarantee a Saturday delivery.

PLEASE NOTE Next day delivery is not available for thermometers requiring  calibration certificates.

RETURNS POLICY (Non Faulty Items)

On-Line Sales (completed through the On-line store payment system).

If you change your mind or are simply not satisfied with your purchase then you can simply return the order to Thermometer Point within 14 days of dispatch and we’ll give you a full money back refund for the costs of the goods.

We accept the return of all orders as long as
• The goods are in their undamaged original packaging as the order was received
• All accessories are present
• The equipment is in its original condition as sold 
Please don’t just return your items without reading "To return an item" below for details.

To Return An Item Firstly contact us about your return on 01704 227 157. We will issue you with an RMA number and supply further instructions. Please write the RMA number clearly on the packaging.

Any goods that have been lost or damaged in transit will be your responsibility.  

The client will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Office Sales

As On-Line sales except a charge of 20% of the original order price will be charged to cover the costs of return and re-stocking.


All our Thermometers and Probes are covered by the "Manufacturers Guarantees" and should be therefore returned to the aforesaid companies directly should you be experiencing any problems. Prior to return please contact Thermometer Point so that we can liaise between yourselves and the manufacturer and supply any necessary paperwork and purchase information!
